Tribe.net is going to debut a new feature very soon: you'll be able to select from a library of custom stylesheets to apply to your profile. Right now I'm designing a bunch of styles to go out with the release, but we'd like to showcase user-created styles too.

If you're a CSS-savvy web designer, we're looking for template designs. We're running a little contest until the end of the month -- submit your style concept as a JPEG to profiledesign@tribe.net by April 1st, and we'll pick the best designs and feature them in our style library. If chosen, your design will be credited with your name, which will be linked to your user profile. The best design will also win an iPod shuffle.

This will be a great way to get exposure for your skills, as every tribe.net user will see the style library page. If you're interested in creating a style, check out the Profile Design Contest tribe:

That tribe is moderated by me, and I'll be answering questions and posting some of my design concepts, so you can get an idea of what's involved in creating a style.
